Following its introduction in 2025, the second edition of the extended list showcases fifty additional outstanding hotels from across six continents, recognising properties that deliver exceptional hospitality experiences and set new benchmarks for the industry.
The World’s 50 Best Hotels Extended List is compiled by The World’s 50 Best Hotels Academy, an influential panel of more than 800 independent travel and hospitality experts split across 13 geographical regions, selected for their extensive knowledge and experience of the global hotel landscape.

The properties featured on the extended list will be celebrated ahead of the fourth edition of The World’s 50 Best Hotels awards ceremony, which will take place in Paris on 15 September 2026 at Les Salles du Carrousel.
