The atrium, holding the title of the world’s tallest hotel atrium, is a spectacle in itself. A colossal Swarovski crystal chandelier—paired with marble-clad walls and floors—crafts a dreamlike, opulent realm where luxury and artistry converge.
All guest rooms at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah are designed as duplex suites, with only 198 rooms in total. Starting from 170㎡, the spacious layouts redefine luxury. During my stay in the Sky One Bedroom Suite, floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows greeted me with unobstructed views of the Palm Jumeirah and the majestic sea.
The first floor features a living room echoing the hotel’s signature design—blue and gold tones exude grandeur without ostentation. The expansive space is divided into seating, dining, and work areas, even a cozy nook for quiet contemplation while basking in sunlight and sea views. A welcome gift adorned with gold leaf subtly reflects Arabian generosity.
Upstairs, the bedroom, bathroom, and vanity area continue the opulence. The bedroom’s retractable TV lets you lounge while gazing at the ocean, and a pillow menu offers 9 choices for optimal rest.
The bathroom is a study in luxury: gold-plated fixtures from door handles to faucets, a 24K gold showerhead, and even a 24K Dyson hairdryer. Hermès toiletries come standard, with a full-size Hermès perfume gifted to each guest—extravagance personified.
